intoxicated person

Noteworthy celebrities are often seen in the news after being arrested on DUI and DWI charges.

Unfortunately, many of the celebs who are arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving decide to plead guilty without giving a second thought to other options.

At Levow DWI Law, P.C., we have successfully defended the rights of many celebrities in the past who have been arrested on intoxicated driving charges.

Furthermore, our commitment to our clients’ privacy has kept many of them out of the spotlight after an arrest.

The point of this article, among other things, is also to show that DWI arrests can happen to anyone who puts them-self in a position of having consumed too much alcohol and then drive. It's not illegal to drink and then drive; it's illegal to be drunk and drive. Some of these celebs and many of those arrested for DWI should not just plead guilty to avoid the court process. Hire a qualified DWI lawyer and figure out whether the case can be successfully challenged.

September Celebs In The News

The Celebrity DUI / DWI Round Up is a monthly report that highlights several celebrities who were arrested on intoxicated driving charges and in the news during the past month.

This month’s report highlights the details of a few celebrity DUI arrests, as well as some updates on previous DUI arrests.

Jamal Anderson was arrested on charges of DUI earlier this month in Hall County, just outside of Atlanta, GA.

According to reports, the former Atlanta Falcons star running back was pulled over on Friendship Road on the night of September 20th, after police noticed that he was swerving in his lane.

Police arrested him for suspicion of DUI on September 20th,

This is the second time that Jamal Anderson has been arrested for DUI within the last year, as he was arrested on suspicion of DUI in Atlanta last November.

Anderson, who is now 42, played his entire career as an Atlanta Falcon from 1994 to 2001.

Former X Factor Judge Arrested On Suspicion of DUI

Tulisa Contostavlos, 27, was arrested on suspicion of Driving Under The Influence on Thursday, September 10th, after crashing her vehicle.

Police reports suggest that the former judge of the hit reality TV series, X Factor, was driving her Ferrari in London when she was involved in an accident with another vehicle.

She was arrested and taken to jail after police administered a breath test at the scene of the accident.

Aldon Smith was charged with driving under the influence earlier this month for an arrest that occurred in August in California’s Santa Clara County.

The former running back for the San Francisco 49ers was arrested on August 7th, after being involved in a hit-and-run.

The San Francisco 49ers released Aldon Smith immediately after he was arrested; however, he has since been picked up by the Oakland Raiders.
