New Jersey DWI Lawyer Evan Levow is the senior and managing partner of Levow & Associates and a nationally recognized DWI attorney. Mr. Levow’s legal practice is 100% devoted to DWI defense. He is well versed in both the law and science of DWI, and appears on television, newspaper and radio to speak on the intricacies of DWI law and defense strategies. Evan teaches both the “Technical & Scientific Defenses in Alcotest Cases” and the “Defending a DWI Blood Case” courses at the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Education, and has also taught the Continuing Education Alcotest Course for Connecticut lawyers. He is a repeat guest speaker at the ‘Mastering Scientific Evidence in DUI/DWI Cases’ annual conference, and for the past 3 years has taught the “DWI Defend With Ingenuity” course at the National DWI Seminar for the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers in Las Vegas. Evan represented the lead defendant in the landmark DWI Breath testing case, State versus Chun, in the NJ Supreme Court. The case set the standard for DWI defense and prosecution in New Jersey, and also affected national protocol. Mr. Levow also represented the defendants in State v. Kent and State v. Renshaw, the leading blood testing evidence cases in New Jersey. Evan’s work in these cases changed how the state is required to present witnesses to establish how blood was drawn and tested, and allowed for the protection of the constitutional right to confront witnesses. Evan has lectured to numerous groups across the country, and has hosted and conducted seminars on ‘Strategies to Win Bench Trials’, breath testing, blood testing and field sobriety testing.
